This archive is a private study collection devoted to the history and aesthetics of the arte del toreo, maintained since 1996. Each figure is catalogued by school and era and drawn from the crónicas taurinas, ring records and the standard literature of the fiesta.
Dates of birth and of the alternativa are verified against the standard references where they survive. The archive is held for cultural and historical reference only; it neither promotes nor organises any event.
